About Me

Hi there! My name is Fletcher Smith. I am an aerospace engineer passionate about shaping the future of robotics and space exploration. My interests and skills lie in guidance, navigation, and control, whether guiding a rover across the Lunar surface, orienting a satellite in orbit, or controlling an aircraft. To continue to develop in this field I build and use simulations, testing different scenarios and systems. I am always eager to take on new projects and expand my skill set. Outside of my engineering projects, I love cooking worldwide dishes, hiking through the woods, and taking photos.

Conducting undergraduate research gave me a thorough understanding of the research and development field while exposing me to working independently and in collaborative environments. During my sophomore spring term, I traveled abroad to Madrid, Spain where I explored a culture, ate diverse foods, and worked with people from around the world to solve problems.
